Connect. Listen. Heal.
The workshop begins from a simple proposition: stories can be a way of entering relation—across experience, history, and difference—without reducing those differences to sameness.
An interactive workshop connecting Indigenous and Colombian experiences through storytelling, healing justice, and reciprocal relationship-building.
Participants are invited to share stories, reflect on how communities hold difficult histories, and explore practices that can strengthen reciprocal relations. The workshop also asks how relational learning might move beyond the event itself: into classrooms, communities, and everyday life.
As the event invitation puts it, the afternoon will make room for food, stories, and healing—treating conversation not as an abstract exercise, but as a practice of being with others.
Storytelling creates a space for situated knowledge, memory, and lived experience to enter the room on their own terms.
The workshop emphasizes reciprocal relationships rather than one-way learning or the consumption of other peoples’ experiences.
Participants are invited to think about how relational learning can reshape classrooms, communities, and ordinary forms of encounter.
