Thirteen participant works from the 2024 arts-and-dialogue workshop on decolonial approaches to migration, preserved as an internal ERPL research archive.
The 2024 workshop brought students into four online sessions combining migration research, invited speakers, social arts, and collective mural-making. The participant works below were originally published as a companion gallery to that mural. They move across questions of connection and disconnection, ecological care, transformation, home, social anxiety, hope, and how different perspectives change what becomes visible.
Artist titles and attributions are preserved from the original ERPL archive. Where an artist supplied an accompanying statement, its central idea is summarized here; where no statement was provided, the archive says so rather than supplying an interpretation.
Within Socioecologies & Economies of Migration, art functions as a mode of knowledge transfer and collective inquiry. Preserving these works alongside the project page keeps participant contributions visible as part of the workshop’s research-action archive rather than treating them as decorative illustrations.
